TES Global acquires stake in Edukey

• Deal represents unique opportunity to scale a successful and profitable UK edtech innovator with a suite of products loved by teachers, and is in line with previous strategic investments in promising ‘teacherpreneur’ led start-ups

TES Global (“TES”), the digital education business, has invested in Edukey Education Ltd (“EduKey”), a rapidly growing provider of education software to teachers and schools. The acquisition further positions TES as a leading edtech investor and provider of digital services to teachers and schools. EduKey’s portfolio of products have in a short time built a global user base of over 350,000 teachers and 4 million students.

EduKey was founded in 2010 by aformer teacher of 16 years and software developer and has two leading products. Class Charts(www.classcharts.com) is an artificial intelligence driven seating plan and behaviour management platform that provides instant seating plans, behaviour management and powerful behaviour analytics to support teachers in the classroom. Provision Map (www.provisionmap.com) is a Special Education Needs management tool.
